Currently Peg Carmack Short is Director of Magazine Publishing Operations and Editor-in-Chief of Significant Living, a faith-based magazine whose focus is celebrating life and faith after 50. Its mission is to minister to adults in the second half of life, empowering them to live with Christ-like vitality, and inspiring them to serve others. Articles provide information and encouragement on topics such as service, outreach, spiritual growth, fellowship, stewardship, and health.
Some of those featured in the magazine include: pop singers such as Pat Boone and Brenda Lee, Actor Gavin McLeod and Nancy Stafford, Apollo astronaut Charlie Duke, former NFL all pro Mike Singletary and Terry Bradshaw, Governor Mike Huckabee and speakers and authors such as Joni Eareckson Tada, Luci Swindoll, Gloria and Bill Gaither, Jill and Stuart Briscoe and many others. Other stories feature ordinary “everyday heroes”—individuals who continue active lives, full of purpose—whether they are barely 50 or pushing 95. |
